What I've been up to!!

Hello my crafty friends, I have missed y'all!! Boy have I been busy making pages, I have really been on a roll lately!! I get the love for 12"x12" pages now, and I could never go back!! LOL!! I am looking at doing 81/2"x11" pages, although I haven't seen ANY pretty 81/2"x11" paper packs??? (Yes, I know I can cut the paper to size but it's not the same for me) I have really been going through the Two Peas In A Bucket Gallery, for ideas.. When I get stuck and need ideas I will try a few different places for ideas, even Google Images.. Pinterest is a great place too, but then I just end up looking at EVERYTHING else!!!!! I really wanted to share a page that I am SUPER proud of.. If you follow me you know I love the Glitz Design lines, and they also have a great story..

I got really brave and tried using spray inks, I have been watching tons of videos on how to use them.. I have to say some of these ladies make things look WAY too easy!!

I hand cut the Dream-Catcher from another page in the pack, I wanted to use the paper it was on but it was just too dark.. It took me a little while to cut it out, it's no where near perfect, but I love it!!  

I used one of the gold foil labels from my Studio Calico Project Life kit (September), I use stuff from my kits on everything.. Some people don't do it that way, and that's okay too!! Whatever works for you, as long as your doing something that makes you happy!!

I am so in love with the gold trend, I hope you are giving it a try!! I had to use these gold Thicker's, aren't they pretty!!!! I'm also always trying to find a way to add enamel dots.. Hello again, boy have I missed y'all! I'm so sorry, I have had 
major technical issues.. And man I am no good at that stuff, I'm lucky I can get this blog up!! I'm kidding, kinda!! I am sooooo blessed to have amazing friends.. My beautiful friend Erica's husband (Thomas) is an IT Specialist, and he put me back on track.. I know I already thanked them in my last post but I always want them to know just how much I love and appreciate them..



 I had sometime to look back at the few post I have done and I feel I need to clear something up with y'all.. This blog is NOT only about Project Life!!!! I know I have only posted about P.L., but I'm still VERY new.. I have a few ideas that I'm going to try out over the next few weeks, please stick with me.. Today I wanted to show you some cards I made this weekend.. I found this awesome 12x12 Dear Lizzy paper pack for 50% off  at Hobby Lobby, and I LOVE it!! I used it to make my first 12x12 scrapbook page, did I say how awesome it is?!?  Layering is something I'm kinda obsessed with lately.. I love the look it gives. It took a while for me to understand that it was okay to cut things up, I know crazy.... But if any of you are like me you have that love for your paper, oh the beautiful paper.. I'm a paper hoarder, I love it soooooo much.. I think we all know how easy it is to get caught up in the buying of pretty products, and then we realize that all we have done is buy pretty things.. I get grounded from shopping from time to time... LOL!!! I am at the point where I have used up most of my stash, so I think I might just hit the store very soon. I will post pics of what I pick-up!! Here are the pics of the cards I made, I hope y'all like them!! 

 I Love how easy these cards came together!! I wish the whole paper pack was full of the cut-up pages, and and a few regular style 12x12 pages. Maybe someone is listening?? Layering is pretty trendy right now, maybe we will get lucky and see something like it at the next CHA!?!?

  

I used clear bling on this card, I haven't used them in a while.. I guess I am kind of stuck on the colored enamel dots, but they are so fun.. I did try using Pearl Pens, but..... I think I might be too impatient. If you are not impatient like me you might want to give them a try!!
